Sue Smith is well known on the backside of Pennsylvania tracks for her volunteer work as director of CANTER Pennsylvania. Her recent articles in Eventing Nation about horse shopping at racetracks have entertained and educated thousands of readers. “I have been a huge fan of RRP’s work since the beginning and look forward to building the relationship with CANTER USA,” says Sue. “If we can continue to increase demand for these horses while helping racing owners and trainers to market them everybody wins.”
“Rosie and Sue are exactly what RRP needs,” said RRP President Steuart Pittman. “Both know their way around the backside of a track and will make sure that RRP’s programs work. Our board owes a debt of gratitude to both Brian Magness and Jane Gilbert for their four years of service to the organization as it grew from an idea to a viable institution.”
