Up to 80% of racehorses suffer from mild to moderate equine asthma. After a brief review of the causes, signs and diagnosis of equine asthma, we will focus on treatment strategies. Practical environmental modifications will be reinforced as well as discussion of current drug treatment options. Finally, we will debut an innovative new product on the market specifically designed for severe equine asthma.
