2026 Trainer Referral Program

Details of the 2026 Trainer Referral Program:

1. To become a Referring Trainer, you must submit the Referral Program application form using the same email and contact information as the RRP website user account associated with your previous Makeover entries. The Referral Program application will close at 5pm EST on December 15th.
2. To be accepted as a Referring Trainer, you must meet the following criteria:
   1. Be a previously accepted Thoroughbred Makeover Trainer (2025 or earlier)
   2. Be in good standing with the Retired Racehorse Project
   3. Intend to apply for the 2026 Thoroughbred Makeover
3. Once accepted to participate as a Referring Trainer, you will be given a unique discount code (known as your “referral code”) to share with potential 2026 Makeover applicants that have never been accepted to compete in the Thoroughbred Makeover.
   1. When submitting their 2026 Makeover application, referred applicants will use the trainer’s referral code at checkout and receive a 10% discount on their registration fees.
   2. The Referring Trainer will receive $20 in store credit for every first-time accepted applicant who correctly uses their referral code during the 2026 Makeover application period (late apps close on June 26, 2026). The store credit can be used on Makeover fees or store purchases.
