Pete is a native of South Florida, life long horse racing fan, and a graduate of the University of Arizona’s Race Track Industry Program (2007). He’s had stops all over the continent from Evergreen Park in Alberta, Canada to River Downs in Cincinnati, OH and ended up back where he started in South Florida as a member of the team at Hialeah Park. Pete started as the summer track announcer at Gulfstream Park in 2013 before taking over full time in 2017. He’s done just about everything on the front side of the racetrack from racing office duties to accounting to marketing and simulcast operations.
